Areas at Risk Programme
The Craigyhill and Antiville area in Larne was one of twelve areas selected within the second phase of the Areas at Risk Programme delivered in communities at risk of spiralling into decline, instability or crisis, as announced by Minister Ritchie on the 13th November 2007.
Following a community audit of the area in 2008 a round table discussion was held with all key stakeholders. LEDCOM was proposed by the community sector as an independent lead partner and a provider of community support. LEDCOM has been involved in the process of drawing up an Action Plan for the area.
LEDCOM works with groups, organisations, and agencies that have a stakehold in the Antiville and Craigyhill community to develop, build and sustain partnership approaches and communication.
