LEDCOM acts as a "One-Stop-Shop" for economic and enterprise development in the Borough of Larne; receiving regular enquiries from businesses and entrepreneurs. LEDCOM staff have researched and produced economic development strategies with successful funding applications to the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and European Social Fund (ESF) for the Borough of Larne and deals with their monitoring and evaluation requirements.
LEDCOM manages Larne's economic development Action Plan (2001-2006) including the management and administration of Larne Development Forum helping to develop a Vision 20/20 and Team Larne approach. Since 1995 Larne Borough Council through Larne Development Forum has helped secure £1,000,000 of E.U./Central Government funding for Economic Development Initiatives. |
