 Larne lies on the east coast of Northern Ireland between the Glens
of Antrim and the Antrim plateau. Its excellent business support
network and good rail system have helped it to attract significant
inward investment.
Its all-weather port facilities are among the finest in
Ireland and its freight and passenger traffic is growing annually.
The road link between Larne and Belfast, a journey of 30 minutes,
has received a £10 million upgrade.
 The rail link is on the Belfast-Dublin economic corridor,
part of the Trans European Network, and the first-class freight
and passenger facilities of Belfast City and International
